Overview
The BASE Gear Trade Show is a Bridge Day tradition with 6-10 parachute industry vendors selling products and displaying new gear. More than 500 BASE jumpers attend each year. Jumpers looking to purchase pilot chutes, T-shirts, risers, toggles, BASE pin rigs, and wingsuits will find them here. BASE gear manufacturers often unveil new products and host seminars each year. Further instructions and details regarding the BASE Gear Trade Show will be emailed after your vendor booth purchase.
Where/When
At the Holiday Lodge in Oak Hill, West Virginia on the evening of October 13 and all day on October 14. Check the schedule for exact times. Vendors will also be permitted to set up their booth on Bridge Day evening (Saturday) if desired.
Reserving A Booth
Vendor booths can be reserved starting July 1 at 2pm EDT (18:00 GMT). The following diagram shows 13 vendor booths available on a first-come, first-serve basis. All booth locations will provide for more than adequate traffic, as the Holiday Lodge Oak Hill will be packed full of jumpers all week. Vendor booths include at least two tables and two chairs, but additional tables are often available. Jump slots are not included with trade show booths.
Lodging for Vendors
If vendors contact us via email by June 23, 2011, we can guarantee a hotel room at the Holiday Lodge. Vendors must then reserve their lodging by calling the Holiday Lodge between June 24-30 and mentioning a special lodging code that we provide.
Hotel Rules
Hotel management must approve all banners hung. Banners, once approved, must be hung with items that will not cause any damage to the property (ie. no nails). No items are to be hung on the walls. The Holiday Lodge Hotel & Conference Center will not be held responsible for any vendor booths or items therein. We reserve the right to move any vendor booth as we deem necessary. All vendor booths must be removed from the property by noon on Sunday, October 16, 2011. Vendors must handle their own delivery and pick up for all freight items. All vendor items left in common areas are their responsibility. We are not responsible for any items missing, stolen, or damaged.
Important
Vendors who are interested in selling their goods to the thousands of Bridge Day spectators near the bridge should contact the Chamber of Commerce.
