Flat Top Bellymount Camera Platform

The Flat Top is our original and simplest single-belt bellymount camera platform providing a fixed flat top for camera mounting and positioning. Designed and tested by mechanical engineer/skydiver Jason Bell on a computer aided drafting (CAD) system, the Flat Top has been used since 1997 by skydivers, BASE jumpers, skiers, roller coaster riders, the US military, motorcyclists, and numerous other adventure sport enthusiasts to capture amazing video footage from one of the most imaginative camera angles available today. If you're interested in watching your feet track away from a 1200' tall antenna, seeing your face as you dock on a 20-way formation, or if you're zipping down the ski slopes or mountain bike trails at 50mph, a bellymount camera platform will provide the footage you desire. Your video or still camera will safely mount in a variety of positions on the fixed top plate via a thumbscrew and adjustable camera strap. Users are encouraged to use wide angle lenses (0.42x-0.50x) on the Flat Top if your subject is in close proximity to the camera.

The Flat Top belt system is uniquely sewn to eliminate excess webbing that may be confused for pilot chute handles. Bellymount camera platforms are one of the easiest recording systems to control as all your buttons and screens are right at your fingertips and fully adjustable. The Flat Top is fully compatible with camcorders such as the Sony PC/TRV/DVD/HDR line, Canon GLX, GoPros, and many others that are similarly sized. Other devices under 10 lbs such as SLR still cameras are fully compatible with every bellymount system. All bellymount camera platforms are available in Red, Yellow, Black, or Blue.
